AI code detection for batch review, not instant verdicts

Check one file free, or upload a class set to get per-file scores, highlighted snippets, and a report you can use to decide where a closer look is worth your time.

This tool detects AI-generated code — it does not check for bugs.

Free single-file check. Batch upload and report export require an account. 0 / 25,000

Screening signal only. Review flagged code before you act on it.

AI detectors are easy to oversell. We would rather show you the limits.

The problem

Checking 40 files before Tuesday is not manageable

If you grade programming assignments, you already know the awkward part. Some submissions look too clean, too fast, or too unlike the student's usual work. Checking one file is manageable. Checking 40 files before Tuesday is not.

An AI code detector should help you sort the pile, not decide the outcome.

I want to be pretty sure when I accuse someone.

How it works

Scan the pile, then spend your time where it matters

  1. Upload files or a ZIP from one assignment.
  2. Get a per-file score and highlighted snippets.
  3. Open the report, compare patterns, and choose what to review.

The report

A report that helps you ask better questions

Each report is built to move you from suspicion to review. See which files need attention, which snippets drove the score, and what to ask next. Export a PDF or CSV when you need a record of the screening step.

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers

Can I use the result to accuse a student?

No. Use the result as a screening signal, then review the flagged snippets and talk to the student. A detector score should not be the basis for an accusation or grade penalty.

Will this catch every AI-generated submission?

No. No automated detector can promise that. Code can be edited, rewritten, or mixed with human work, so the report is a way to prioritize review, not a final answer.

What languages does it support?

The first version supports Python, JavaScript, Java, and C++. Those languages cover many intro and intermediate programming courses.

Do students see the report?

That depends on your course policy. If you use a screening tool, tell students how you review flagged work and give them a chance to explain their code.

Do you store uploaded code?

Yes, but only to provide the service. Anonymous single-file scans are processed in memory and not retained beyond transient caching. Free accounts keep history for 7 days; Pro keeps reports for 12 months. You can delete uploads and reports anytime; closing your account deletes them from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.

Is this a plagiarism checker?

No. Plagiarism detection compares code against other sources. This tool looks for signals associated with AI-generated code and produces a review report.
